Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a Principal Analytics Consultant to lead analytic engagements for its largest Commercial clients. You will leverage SQL, Python, R, and BI tools to translate complex healthcare data into insights that drive strategy.

In this hybrid role based in Chicago, you will mentor teams, present to C-suite stakeholders, and scale client engagements while delivering high-quality analytical outputs under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in health care analytics or related field, or advanced degrees with fewer years.
• Proficiency querying diverse data sources for insights.
• Strong analytics and programming in SQL, Python, R.
• Ability to create dynamic dashboards with Tableau or Power BI.
• BI mindset from inception to execution.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Independent work and teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple analytic projects.
• Analytics subject matter expert.
• Proven performance in driving initiatives with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytic support and consultancy for top Commercial clients.
• Lead external client engagements and internal projects.
• Design and maintain data layers and coding standards.
• Present findings to C-suite stakeholders.
• Scale and market client engagements internally.
• Troubleshoot analytic development challenges.
