Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation seeks a Principal Analytics Consultant to lead client engagements and provide expert analytics for population health and insurance economics. You will use SQL, Python, R, and Tableau/Power BI to transform medical claims data into actionable insights for major commercial clients.

You will partner with executives, design standard data layers, mentor analytics staff, and scale successful engagements across teams. Hybrid in-office/work-from-home schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a health care related field with at least 8 years of experience.
• Strong querying across diverse data sources for meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R and data visualization with Tableau/Power BI.
• Ability to lead client engagements and present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytic support and consultancy for HCSC's Commercial Clients.
• Develop dashboards and data layers; mentor junior team members.
• Present findings to C-suite stakeholders and drive action.
