Job summary
Health Care Service Corporation in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant to lead analytic engagements for large Commercial clients. The role requires expert data skills (SQL, Python, R) and deep healthcare analytics, with responsibility to guide projects from problem framing to delivery including client communication with executives.
You will develop dashboards with Tableau or Power BI, design data layers, mentor staff, and scale successful engagements internally, working hybrid
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in health care services, statistics, or insurance economics, or Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years
- 10 years of experience in health care services, statistics, or insurance industry economics
- Expert querying of healthcare data (claims, EMR, demographics, census, etc.)
- Strong SQL, Python, R and BI dashboard skills
- Experience creating dashboards with Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions
- Leadership of analytic initiatives and influencing C-Suite decisions
Responsibilities
- Lead analytic engagements for external clients and internal teams
- Communicate insights to C-Suite and senior leadership
- Develop scalable data solutions and standard data layers
- Create dynamic dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
- Collaborate with management to scale client engagements
