Job summary

Aon Corporation is seeking a Health Solutions Actuarial Consultant in Boston, MA to lead health-care actuarial consulting engagements and strategy development for clients in the health care industry.

You will manage client relationships, provide senior actuarial leadership, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design plans, pricing strategies, budgeting, and performance metrics. A Bachelor's degree and ASA designation (or close) are preferred along with 4+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• ASA designation (or close) preferred.
• 4+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Project management experience.
• People management/mentoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting (benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, pricing).
• Provide actuarial client leadership on targeted clients, coaching team members, and building client relationships.
• Demonstrate leadership in anticipating client needs and developing solutions.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and discuss alternatives.
• Participate in strategic client discussions and lead actuarial teams on jumbo projects.
• Contribute to practice improvements through national model development and initiatives.
