Job summary

Aon seeks an experienced actuarial consultant to lead strategy and client engagements in the health care space from Boston. You will design benefit strategies, pricing approaches, and budgets while guiding client teams and mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates have ASA or equivalent credentials, 4+ years in health care actuarial work, and strong project management skills. This role emphasizes leadership, client collaboration, and delivering high-impact outcomes for jumbo clients.

Qualifications

• ASA designation (or close) and health-care actuarial experience.
• 4+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting including benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, pricing, budgeting, and bid projects.
• Provide actuarial client leadership focusing on client outcomes, delegating, coaching, and building client relationships.
• Exhibit leadership in anticipating client needs and developing alternative solutions.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and discuss alternatives.
• Participate in strategic client discussions and lead actuarial work with teams.
