Aon is seeking a Health Solutions Actuarial Senior Consultant. The role involves strategy and actuarial consulting across benefits, budgeting, and plan design, serving high-profile clients.

Preferred location Boston, with other locations including Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD; New York, New York; Berkley Heights, NJ; Philadelphia, PA. The position offers eligibility for incentive plans, and the stated salary range is $140,000-$160,000 annually, varying by education, experience, and location.

Qualifications

• FSA/ASA designation required.
• 6+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Project management experience.
• People management/mentoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting across benefit strategy, budgeting, plan design, pricing, benchmarking and bid projects.
• Provide client leadership focusing on outcomes, delegating responsibilities; coach and mentor team; build client relationships.
• Exhibit leadership in anticipating client needs and developing alternative solutions.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and discuss potential alternatives.
• Participate in strategic discussions with clients.
• Lead actuarial client teams, coach others, and coordinate with the broader actuarial group.
• Lead actuarial work on jumbo clients and manage large projects with sign-off on results.
• Contribute to practice improvements, including national model development.
