Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to design automated validation workflows for complex hardware/software systems in lab and pre-field environments. You will build end-to-end test coverage, develop Python/Bash/Robot Framework automation, and work across RF, networking, and system-control surfaces to ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in automated test and validation using Python, Bash, Robot Framework or similar tools.
• Experience building CI/CD-backed regression systems using GitLab CI/CD or similar.
• Hands-on familiarity with RF and hardware test equipment (signal generators, analyzers, matrices, power systems).
• Ability to translate requirements into concrete test procedures, fixtures, coverage maps and pass/fail evidence.
• Proficiency with Linux systems, networking, infrastructure, and hardware interfaces for debugging.
• Strong defect-triage instincts to reproduce and isolate issues and communicate them clearly.
• Attention to detail in evidence capture, traceability, and release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design test approaches, fixtures and automated validation workflows for hardware/software systems.
• Build coverage for functional validation, regression, qualification, and environmental readiness.
• Develop automation in Python, Bash, Robot Framework to configure systems and collect evidence.
• Operate RF test equipment, networking, infrastructure and system-control surfaces to validate end-to-end behavior.
• Collaborate with software, FPGA, DSP, hardware and systems engineers to reproduce issues and improve quality.
• Establish disciplined test plans, defect triage loops, and evidence packages for productization.
