Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to design and deliver test systems for our electronic products. You will partner with test management to identify gaps in coverage and own hardware/software test solutions for air and ground systems.

A strong candidate will have a proven record of turnkey test solutions for electronic components and systems, with a background in hardware, software, integration and sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years’ hands-on electrical engineering experience designing functional test equipment.
• Experience with scripting for automation (Python, C#, MATLAB, Perl, or Shell).
• Instrument control using VISA/SCPI/GPIB.
• Experience with USB, I2C, UART, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, RS232/485.
• Knowledge of measurement and process capability analysis.
• Understanding product release cycles from prototype to production.
• Experience with GitHub or similar source control.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware qualification test plan definition with cross-functional teams.
• Define test strategies for safety, reliability, and risk mitigation.
• Design and test PCBA and electrical systems with hands-on work.
• Analyze data and communicate results to engineers to resolve issues.
• Develop next-gen test automation hardware for fast, repeatable testing.
• Manage purchasing, build, integration and commissioning of testers.
• Create test procedures from component to system level.
• Support board bring-up and bench validation.
