Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to design and deliver turnkey test systems for its electronic products. You will partner with firmware, software, and hardware teams to close test gaps, deliver hardware qualification plans, and own test hardware/software solutions from prototype to production.

The role emphasizes hands-on development of PCBA/test systems, data analysis, and creation of repeatable automation to improve quality and yield across air and ground

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience designing functional test equipment.
• Proficient in scripting languages for automation: Python, C#, MATLAB, PERL, or SHELL.
• Experience with instrument control using VISA, SCPI, and GPIB.
• Familiar with USB, I2C, UART, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, and RS232/485.
• Knowledge of measurement analysis techniques (Gage R&R, Process Capability).
• Experience with product release cycles from prototype to production and cross-functional collaboration.
• Version control experience; GitHub a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hardware Qualification test plan definitions for new products and features.
• Define test strategies for safety, reliability, risk mitigation, and schedule.
• Design and test PCBA and electrical system components with hands-on testing.
• Analyze data and communicate results to design engineers for issue resolution.
• Develop next-generation test automation hardware to speed up testing.
• Manage purchasing, build, integration and commissioning of testers.
• Create test procedures and automation from component to system level.
• Support board bring-up and bench validation as needed.
• Provide feedback from test results to improve quality and coverage.
