Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Firmware Engineer in Electrical Test to own the test firmware layer and host automation. You will write bare-metal C for MCUs and build Python/LabVIEW frameworks on the host to drive automated tests for next-generation radio products.

You will collaborate with Cognizant Design Engineers and manufacturing to ensure test coverage keeps pace with rapid hardware iteration, while mentoring teams and building scalable test infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
5+ years of Python architecture, design and development.
Embedded C for test instrumentation and host APIs.
Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) testing.
Familiar with SDLC/Agile; experience with JIRA.
Experience with automated testing tools (Jenkins, CircleCI).
Linux knowledge and lab hardware testing experience.
Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and test strategies.

Responsibilities

Architect and build a unified test environment (target firmware + host frameworks).
Develop MCU test firmware exposing peripherals via UART/CAN/SPI for host control.
Create abstraction layers and drivers for peripherals and benchtop equipment.
Debug issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
Collaborate with manufacturing and electrical test teams on coverage.
Review schematics and test plans and provide test firmware insights.
Maintain automated test suites and analyze results; drive fixes.
Develop HITL stations for regression testing; support board bring-up.
Provide feedback to Design Engineers to improve test coverage.
