Axon is seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Architect to own system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains. You will drive technical standards, collaborate with EE, RF, ME, and SW leaders, and guide design decisions for mass production.

You will shape system requirements, verification strategies, and cross-functional reviews, ensuring robust, scalable hardware. This role offers hybrid work with relocation support and global impact on public safety tech.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hardware engineering experience.
• Experience owning system architecture for complex hardware.
• Experience with EVT/DVT/PVT and manufacturing ramp.
• Familiarity with US and international hardware certification and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains.
• Define system requirements and verification plans with cross-functional teams.
• Lead design reviews and ensure risk mitigation for integration.
• Own system-level certification strategy across regulatory standards.
