Job summary

Axon is seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Architect in a hybrid role based in the United States. You will own system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, and thermal domains, driving cross‑functional decisions with EE, RF, and ME leads to deliver production‑ready hardware.

You will define requirements, manage verification plans, and oversee certification and manufacturing readiness, including collaboration with ODM/JDM partners and regulatory teams—relocating support is available

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience with cross‑discipline expertise.
• Proven ownership of system architecture and technical decisions for complex hardware.
• Experience delivering battery‑powered hardware from concept to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Own system architecture and design across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains.
• Define and manage system requirements with traceability from PRD through V&V.
• Lead cross‑discipline reviews and provide technical direction to EE, RF, and ME leads.
