Job summary

Axon 911 is seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Architect to own system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains. You will define standards and drive cross‑functional decisions with EE, RF, SW, and ME leads, balancing constraints to deliver mass‑production hardware.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with onsite hubs in New York City, Boston, or Scottsdale, Arizona (Tue–Fri).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• Experience owning system architecture for complex hardware.
• Experience with RF/antenna integration, power, and thermal management.
• Familiar with ODM/JDM or contract manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains.
• Lead cross-disciplinary design reviews and drive decisions.
• Own system verification and validation strategy.
• Partner with ODM/JDM and manufacturing for production readiness.
