Job summary

Axon is seeking a senior hardware program manager to own the integrated hardware schedule for drone, ground control, and radio systems. You will oversee cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, firmware, test, and certification, driving governance and risk management to ensure on-time, on-budget program delivery.

You will report to the PMO Director for Robotics & New Ventures, with responsibility spanning multiple countries and contract manufacturers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering program management in hardware product development.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers across international sites (Taiwan, Belgium, Poland, etc).
• Integrated Master Schedule ownership: 500+ tasks, cross-functional dependency chains.
• Formal risk management practice: risk registers, FMEA, and risk trending.
• Phase gate process ownership with evidence packages and leadership readiness arguments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Must be able to qualify for export control licenses (ITAR).

Responsibilities

• Own the Integrated Master Schedule across drone, GCS, radio, and subsystems from design to mass production.
• Manage cross-functional integration points between design, manufacturing, firmware, test and certification.
• Drive formal change control with traceability of scope, schedule, and cost.
• Ensure hardware revisions and firmware builds are under controlled configuration.
