Job summary

Axon is seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Architect to own cross‑disciplinary system design across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains. You will help define standards and drive architectural decisions that scale to mass production.

You will partner with EE, RF, SW, and ME leads to shape requirements, balance constraints, and guide production‑ready devices. Expect a hybrid schedule with regional hubs and travel to align with program milestones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• Experience owning system architecture for complex hardware.
• Experience taking battery-powered hardware from concept to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains.
• Lead cross-disciplinary design reviews and drive system-level decisions.
• Own verification & validation strategy to mitigate risks before production.
• Collaborate with ODM/JDM partners for manufacturing readiness.
