Job summary

IDEXX in Westbrook, Maine, seeks a Senior Product Manager for Hardware, Support, and Supplies to lead strategy, pricing, and operations across North America. You will own P&L, vendor relationships, inventory, and cross-functional execution with finance, sales, engineering, procurement, and logistics.

The role offers autonomy and growth into broader business leadership while staying close to customers and products. Travel up to 15% and a hybrid work arrangement are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management or related commercial leadership experience.
• 3+ years of P&L ownership and financial accountability.
• Experience managing hardware product portfolios (PCs/servers/printers/networking).
• Experience with onboarding/validation processes with technical teams.
• Experience managing vendor and OEM relationships and escalations.
• Experience inventory planning and mult-location fulfillment.
• Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce) and advanced Excel.
• Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead without direct authority.
• Experience leading and developing employees.
• Strong business acumen in pricing, inventory, and commercial performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent.
• Strongly preferred: veterinary/medical/dental/professional practice exposure.
• Strongly preferred: experience with major hardware vendors and service contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L performance, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial health.
• Define portfolio strategy, product selection, lifecycle management, and expansion.
• Guide products through onboarding and validation with QA/Engineering.
• Coordinate inventory strategy and multi-warehouse fulfillment.
• Oversee Hardware Support subscription business pricing and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop pricing programs and promotions.
• Lead commercial marketing of catalogs, campaigns, and materials.
• Manage vendor and OEM relationships, including negotiations and escalations.
• Serve as senior escalation point for major customer/product issues.
• Analyze performance data to drive revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead two direct reports and influence cross-functional priorities.
• Support veterinary practices with reliable, scalable IDEXX hardware/services.
• Travel up to 15% for vendor and warehouse visits.
