Job summary

Axon is seeking a senior hardware program manager to own the integrated hardware schedule, risk, and governance for a multi-country supply chain. The role requires leading cross-functional teams through phase gates, coordinating with contract manufacturers, and reporting to executive leadership in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

You will manage IMS across drone, GCS, radio, and subsystems, drive risk response, and ensure configuration control from prototype through mass production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering program management in hardware product development
• Experience delivering complex multi-disciplinary hardware from prototype to mass production
• Direct experience managing contract manufacturers in Asia with on-site build oversight
• Integrated Master Schedule ownership across hardware programs
• Phase gate process ownership with evidence-based readiness assessments
• Change control and configuration management across hardware revisions and multi-site builds
• Export control considerations (ITAR) and regulatory compliance experience

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated hardware schedule and critical path posture; drive on-time delivery
• Lead cross-functional collaboration among design, manufacturing, firmware, test, and certification
• Drive formal change control with traceability and documented decisions
• Coordinate phase gates and executive readiness reviews; present evidence-based assessments
• Manage vendor budgets, supplier relationships, and contract manufacturing across multiple sites
• Engage with EE/ME/FW to ensure manufacturability and design-to-cost optimization
