Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Sr. Staff Hardness Lead Engineer (level 6) to lead technical activities for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will oversee robustness, risk analyses, and cross-team coordination with INF and chief engineer offices.
Responsibilities include driving quality, leading MBSE work products, and presenting to executive leadership. Requires DoD TS clearance, 6+ years in relevant domains, and readiness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities
- Review INF work products via peer reviews, design reviews, and board meetings to drive design best practices.
- Balance stringent quality standards for technical artifacts with procurement, fabrication, and construction pace.
- Present information to Program Management to inform decisions between conflicting technical approaches.
- Lead process improvements to enable cross-functional teams to define high quality products efficiently.
- Serve as OU technical expert in nuclear effects testing/analysis, survivability, structural analysis and qualification.
