Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Sr. Staff Hardness Lead Engineer (level 6) in Roy, UT, to lead technical products within the Sentinel program. You will coordinate across engineering teams, ensure quality and timely delivery, and influence design choices at program level.

The role requires a DoD Top Secret clearance, MBSE proficiency, and deep knowledge of nuclear effects. Relocation support may be available and a 9/80 work schedule applies where offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Top Secret clearance and SAP access
• Minimum of 6 years in Nuclear hardness analysis
• Minimum of 6 years in Systems Engineering on an EMD program
• Minimum MBSE experience
• Strong understanding of nuclear weapon effects

Responsibilities

• Review INF work products via peer reviews and design reviews.
• Balance strict quality standards with procurement and construction pace.
• Present information to Program Management for decisions on technical approaches.
• Champion process improvements across engineering and analysis teams.
• Serve as the OU technical expert in nuclear effects testing/analysis and survivability.
