Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Staff Systems Engineer (level 6) in Roy, UT for the Sentinel program.

You will lead architecture development, requirements management, and MBSE activities across large programs, collaborating with IPTs and stakeholders to define interfaces and system behavior. The role emphasizes Cameo MBSE, DOORS, and agile practices, with a focus on delivering complex aerospace solutions while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 14 years of experience; or Master's degree with 12 years of experience; or PhD with 9 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.
• 1+ year of experience managing requirements in DOORS.
• 3+ years of experience with Systems Engineering and Integration and Test (SEIT) processes.
• 3+ years of MBSE tools (Cameo).
• 1+ year of experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA/Confluence).
• 3+ years of experience with one or more: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, etc.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop SE artifacts.
• Mature architecture content for large programs.
• Develop and ensure requirements are properly represented in the model.
• Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
• Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
• Lead tools and processes team and data architecture governance.
• Own interfaces and documentation across Node-to-Node interfaces.
• Coordinate external EICD support and interface documentation.
