Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create recovery plans, and fabricate custom orthoses.

Role involves supervising staff, collaborating with surgeons and clinicians, and delivering comprehensive OT/PT care in an outpatient setting. Minimum 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab; state PT/OT license and CHT required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license and CHT credential.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop plans of care for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehab.
• Provide custom orthoses and splints fabrication and education on use.
• Directs and supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and support staff.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Education

Bachelor's degree
