Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create custom splints, and develop recovery plans within an outpatient setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with an OT/PT credential, 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, and active state licensure. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; DPT or DOT preferred; OT program must be accredited.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehabilitation/outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.
• Document delivery of OT services and progress.
• Directs and supervises OT staff, students, and support personnel.
• Design and fit custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear and care.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases including scar and edema management.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
