Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design custom splints, and develop evidence-based recovery plans within an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires a Bachelor's, a state PT or OT license, and a CHT credential with 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehabilitation experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish a plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OT assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases including scar management and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians and other therapists; participate in care planning.
