Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) for comprehensive hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehabilitation on-site in Oklahoma. You will evaluate patients, design and fit custom orthoses, and develop individualized recovery plans in collaboration with hand surgeons and the broader rehab team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, OT/PT with CHT, and CPR/BLS. At least 3 years in upper-extremity rehab and current state license are expected; leadership or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT staff and students.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom hand orthoses and splints.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation needs including wound care.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other health professionals on care plans.
