Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OT preferred; graduate of accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy experience.
• Current state PT or OT license; Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential; CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OTAs, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust custom hand/upper-extremity orthoses and splints; educate patients.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases; scar management and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in care planning.
