Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in an outpatient setting. The role involves patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans, with opportunities to supervise assistants and educate students.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree, be licensed as a PT or OT in the state, and have a CHT credential; OT/PT program graduate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited program.
• Doctorate in PT or OT preferred.
• Current state PT or OT license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish a plan of care.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation.
• Direct supervision of assistants and students.
• Fabricate and fit custom orthoses and splints.
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehab and scar control.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other therapists.
• Document services delivered.
