Zusammenfassung

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and oversee orthotic fabrication while coordinating with hand surgeons and therapists.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with a DPT/OT preferred and 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience. Join a team focused on interdisciplinary care and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• DPT or OT degree preferred depending on clinical focus.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program with hands-on training.

Aufgaben

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability of the patient.
• Document Delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions; educate patients on wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions; scar management, edema control, wound care, return-to-work rehab as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
