Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma seeks a skilled Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide advanced rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, fabricate custom splints, and guide recovery.

Collaborate with hand surgeons and therapists, supervise assistants and students, and educate patients on orthoses and home programs. Current PT/OT license required; CHT credential preferred; CPR/BLS required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in OT or PT.
• CHT credential and state license required or in process.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish care plans.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation interventions.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Directs and supervises OTAs, students and support staff.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians on care planning.
• Document therapy services and outcomes.
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehabilitation and return-to-work plans.
