Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, tailor splints, and craft recovery plans across multidisciplinary teams.

You will collaborate with hand surgeons and therapists, supervise OT staff, and fabricate orthoses while guiding patients through post-surgical rehab and return-to-work strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required for OT/PT licensure.
DPT or OTD preferred for advanced practice.
Graduate from accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and establish care plans for upper-extremity conditions.
Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation and splinting.
Document delivery of occupational therapy services accurately.
Directs and supervises OT assistants, students, and support staff.
Design and fit custom orthoses and educate on orthosis care.
Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation, including scar management and return-to-work.
