Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing individualized recovery plans.

You will collaborate with hand surgeons and therapists, supervise students and assistants, and contribute to orthotic fabrication, post-surgical rehab, and return-to-work programs. A BS in OT or PT is required with OT/PT licensure and CHT credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT or PT is required.
• DPT or MOT with OT program preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plans of care for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Design, fabricate, and fit custom orthoses and splints.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and therapists to coordinate care.
• Provide post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management and return-to-work rehab.
