Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; OT or PT professional license varies by state
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• CHT credential required or pursued with experience in hand rehab

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care for hand/upper-extremity rehab
• Provide custom splinting and orthotic fabrication
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services and outcomes
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students
• Collaborate with surgeons and therapists in interdisciplinary care plans
