Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation of the hand, upper extremity, and related areas. The role includes evaluation, splinting, and developing individualized recovery plans within a collaborative care team.

The position requires 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience, a current PT or OT license, and CHT certification, with opportunities for professional growth and leadership in the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for upper-extremity conditions.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs OTAs, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom hand splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases.
• Provide scar management, edema control, and wound care.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
