Job summary

AssemblyAI is hiring our first Senior GTM AI Engineer to build pipelines, internal tools, and agents that decide which companies we go after, how we reach them, and what our sellers see when they open their laptop in the morning.

You will write Python services, ship AI-enabled workflows, and own end-to-end production systems that move pipeline and revenue. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to define what to build next.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as software/data engineer or GTM engineer.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production automation experience.
• Experience building with multi-step AI agents and LLMs.
• Comfort shipping end-to-end systems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Write Python services, SQL models, and internal apps daily.
• Build agents for account research, lead qualification, and CRM hygiene.
• Turn product usage data into signals for sellers (usage alerts, expansion triggers).
• Develop the account targeting pipeline from data to ranked lists for reps.
• Integrate CRM and outbound tools to move data seamlessly.
• Document systems to ensure long-term operability.
