Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist. The preferred location is Houston, TX, with Midland, MI or a US‑based virtual office considered.

You will identify, develop, and convert new opportunities across ICT and Wire & Cable within Packing & Specialty Plastics, partnering with Marketing, TS&D, Product Management, and Commercial teams. Your focus will be on expanding Dow’s market presence by generating new customers and applications, building a robust pipeline, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, qualification, and development of new customer and application opportunities.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and projects.
• Partner with Marketing to identify market trends and strategic growth segments.
• Collaborate with Technical Service & Development to evaluate feasibility and accelerate commercialization.
• Develop and execute market penetration strategies to establish Dow products in new applications.
• Engage decision-makers across customer organizations to build relationships.
