Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Specialist. The preferred location is Houston, TX, but Midland, MI or a US-remote option can be considered.

You will identify and develop new business opportunities across ICT and Wire & Cable segments within Packing & Specialty Plastics, partnering with Marketing, TS&D, Product Management, and Commercial teams to create demand and accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in business development or sales.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop new customer and application opportunities aligned with growth priorities.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, projects, and market opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to identify trends and strategic growth segments.
• Work with TS&D, Product Management and Commercial teams to accelerate new solutions.
• Lead opportunity development from prospecting through to launch and commercialization.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives.
• Support forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning for growth projects.
