Qualifications

• 7+ years in ground-up commercial construction, federal/public sector preferred
• Proven track record managing large projects end-to-end
• Strong budgeting, estimating, cost control and invoicing experience
• Experience with change orders, subcontractor negotiations, and contracts administration
• Knowledge of permitting, zoning, and public sector compliance
• Ability to read drawings/specs and read project schedules
• Leadership experience partnering with superintendents, field teams, subs, and clients
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with construction mgmt software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of ground-up construction projects from pre-con through closeout
• Manage project budgets, estimates, and cost forecasts; track job costs for profitability
• Oversee invoicing, pay apps, change orders to protect margins
• Develop and maintain project schedules; lead meetings with owners and subs
• Coordinate permitting, zoning, regulatory approvals and subcontractor licensing
• Work with field teams to resolve scope, layout, and material/equipment needs
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence
• Enforce OSHA and safety standards; document daily logs and reports
• Manage subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
