Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation seeks an experienced On-Site Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects from start to finish. This contracted, on-site role requires hands-on leadership to keep projects on time and within budget while upholding quality standards.

You will supervise crews and subcontractors, monitor safety, review drawings, and maintain meticulous project records. Strong coordination and communication with the project manager and stakeholders are essential

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of on-site construction supervision experience.
• Experience managing large-scale ground-up construction projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily on-site activities and project timelines.
• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor quality to ensure compliance with design specs and codes.
• Resolve on-site issues and implement timely solutions.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports and safety logs.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with project manager to track milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
