Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior Project Manager to own the ground system development lifecycle at the Florida Orbital Launch Site and facilities. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning mechanical, fluids, DSCE, software, CAD, Facilities, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver complex capital projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex cross-organizational engineering capital projects.
• Experience as Budget Owner with delegated cost approval authority.
• Track record of leading anomaly investigations and recovery plans on project execution issues.
• Experience coordinating across multiple functional engineering and support organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, technical performance, and change control across the full ground system development lifecycle.
• Serve as Budget Owner; develop and maintain project budgets with Finance and Accounting.
• Develop right-sized capital project estimates reflecting scope, complexity, and risk.
• Maintain integrated project plans, WBS, milestone schedules, and resource plans; manage bottlenecks and risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to meet project objectives and requirements.
• Engage with external vendors and DSCE, CAD, Facilities, Safety, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
