Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD to review transmission line models.
• 7+ years on transmission line design projects with schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV–500kV range.
• Conduct cost analyses and develop design criteria, routing and siting.
• Perform conductor selection, shielding, grounding and induction studies.
• Coordinate with vendors/clients to specify components.
• Lead a small project team and mentor staff.
• Travel for site visits and client meetings.
• Develop proposals and cost estimates for new work.
