Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Lead Engineer in grid operations technology to provide senior technical leadership across ADMS, OMS, SCADA, EMS, and DERMS. You will develop architecture, standards, and roadmaps, guiding major upgrades and integrations to ensure reliable, secure grid operations.

The role focuses on DER integration, control center applications, and coordinating with operations, IT, cybersecurity, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years in the technical, operational, or engineering aspects of electrical utilities.
• Experience leading grid modernization initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for grid operations technology.
• Develop requirements, architecture, roadmaps for ADMS/OMS/SCADA/EMS/DERMS.
• SupportDERMS integration and grid modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate with Operations, IT, cybersecurity, and vendors.
• Lead multidisciplinary technical projects from design through deployment.
