ABB seeks a Senior Technical Business Developer to lead the expansion of the Grid Automation portfolio in the U.S. market. Remote position with preference for Cary, NC or Houston, TX, reporting to Product Marketing Director and collaborating with Grid Components leadership.

The role requires 9+ years in technical business development, deep knowledge of US utility dynamics, and familiarity with standards such as IEEE 61850. Travel up to 30% may be required as needed.

Qualificações

• Requires Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• 9+ years in technical business development, preferably in grid automation or power systems.
• Strong understanding of US utility market dynamics, standards (IEEE, IEC 61850), and digital substation architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Market strategy leadership to drive US growth and identify new opportunities.
• Lead pre-sales technical activities and support solution design across architectures and protection systems.
• Contribute to industry standards and interoperability frameworks through participation in vPAC/IEEE groups.
• Build strategic partnerships and represent ABB at industry forums to evolve offerings like SSC600, SMU600, CogniEN.
