Job summary

Soteria-LLC is seeking a Senior Security Advisor to drive risk and compliance engagements for a growing client roster. You will apply deep GRC expertise to guide clients toward stronger security postures and deliver polished findings.

The role requires experience authoring System Security Plans, identifying regulatory requirements, and partnering with clients to achieve measurable improvements. Occasional travel is possible, with remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in cybersecurity and risk management.
• Experience leading cybersecurity consulting engagements and client relationships.
• Proven ability to author System Security Plans (SSPs) and support RMF/ATO processes.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, GDPR and related regulations.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CEH are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex risk and compliance engagements for multiple clients.
• Develop end-to-end SSPs including control selection and documentation.
• Identify regulatory requirements and craft strategic plans to ensure compliance.
• Mentor junior advisors and drive high-quality client deliverables.
• Present findings to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders.
