Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional grant writing and grant management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience researching, developing, and submitting large-dollar grant proposals.
• Ability to manage multiple grants, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
• Strong written communication and data presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research, development, submission, tracking, and management of federal, state, foundation, and other grant opportunities.
• Identify new funding opportunities that align with Four Oaks' mission, programs, and strategic priorities.
• Write and oversee high-quality grant proposals, focusing on large-dollar and complex funding.
• Supervise, support, and provide direction to our Grant Writer.
• Manage grant calendars, deadlines, reporting, renewals, deliverables, and milestones.
• Develop and maintain systems for tracking grant activity, outcomes, deadlines, funding, and performance.
• Monitor and analyze grant-related data to demonstrate program outcomes and support applications and reports.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure grant budgets, expenditures, reporting, and funding requirements remain aligned.
• Coordinate with Community & Engagement and program leadership to identify funding needs, gather information, and tell impact.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, funders, and community partners.
• Stay informed about funding trends and proactively bring new opportunities forward.
