Job summary

Youth In Need, a nonprofit child and family services agency in Saint Charles, MO, seeks a mission-driven Grants Manager to oversee the annual grant cycle. You will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward funders, building lasting partnerships to support the agency’s programs and services.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of grant writing experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work with diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Grant writing techniques.
• Willing to develop in-depth knowledge of Youth In Need programs and services.
• Individual must be sensitive to the socioeconomic and cultural characteristics of the service population.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to navigate program-specific software.
• Ability to be CPR certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Development and Marketing Department’s annual cycle of foundation and corporate grants.
• Develop long‑term partnerships with funders through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Prepare compelling grant proposals and reports to meet funder requirements.
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure accurate and timely grant deliverables.
