Job summary

Easterseals Redwood, a leading human services organization in the Greater Cincinnati region, seeks a Grants Manager to lead institutional funding strategies across foundations, corporations, and government sources. You will oversee the full grant lifecycle, from prospect research to reporting and funder stewardship, collaborating with program, finance, and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 3+ years in grant writing/management.
• Experience building and stewarding relationships with funders (foundation, corporate, government).
• Strong persuasive and technical writing, editing, research, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to interpret funder guidelines, contracts, regulations, and program/financial data.
• Experience with grant budgeting and working with finance partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of foundation and government grants and develop annual strategy.
• Translate program, financial, and outcome data into compelling funder narratives.
• Collaborate across teams to create grant work plans and timelines.
• Maintain the grant reporting calendar and deliver timely reports.
• Serve as main contact for funders; ensure compliance and stewardship.
• Coordinate with marketing to publicize awards and impact while adhering to guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records in fundraising databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge NXT, Instrumentl).
• Supervise Grants Specialist with coaching and performance reviews.
• Contribute to annual fundraising goals and strategic initiatives.
