Job summary

You will handle proposal prep, budget development, account maintenance, invoicing, and closeout, ensuring compliance and timely reporting. You will lead a team and serve as a key resource for faculty, ORA, and departmental staff, with responsibilities for training and onboarding as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with relevant experience in sponsored research or financial positions.
• Experience in academic or medical grant environments preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor staff in awards management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct complex award management activities including monitoring and reporting.
• Plan and develop submissions to federal and private sponsors in collaboration with faculty.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and institutional policies.
• Prepare timely budgets and coordinate post-award processes including invoicing and closeouts.
• Provide training and support to staff and oversee onboarding of new hires.
