Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent).
  • Education may substitute for required experience per JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with departmental faculty on planning and development of grant submissions.
  • Coordinate with the Grants & Contracts Manager and ORA as needed.
  • Review sponsored project proposals for moderate complexity for accuracy and guidelines adherence.
  • Provide instruction and support related to application procedures.
  • Serve as liaison between research units, central offices and funding agencies.
  • Review budgets and ensure proper application of direct and indirect costs.
  • Ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and internal protocols.
  • Coordinate submission details to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Maintain updates and reports to principal investigators and management.
  • Assist with post-award tasks such as account reconciliation and cost transfers.
  • Support closeouts and award setup details as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
