Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Sr. Grants & Contracts Analyst, Post-Award, to manage complex sponsored funds with a focus on post-award processes, closeouts, and detailed financial oversight across multiple projects and subawards.

The role requires strong knowledge of grant regulations and experience in academic research administration, with a commitment to accurate budgeting, reporting, and compliance across the School of Medicine. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Four years of related experience in sponsored research and/or financial positions.
  • Successful completion of the Research Administration Training Program or equivalent may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct complex award management activities including monitoring and reporting.
  • Partner with faculty and Office of Research Administration for application submissions to agencies and foundations.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional pre-award policies and sponsor guidelines.
  • Review proposals for accuracy before forwarding for signature and PI review.
  • Prepare timely budgets for PI review and liaison with research units and funding agencies.
  • Maintain updates on current awards, including regular auditing and reporting to PIs and leadership.
