Job summary

Motorola Solutions UK is seeking a seasoned government sales professional to lead direct sales of our communications systems and technology solutions to DoD/DoW and international government accounts across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

You will translate customer needs into ROI-driven solutions, work closely with government customers to grow key accounts, and manage proposals, pricing, and lifecycle activities while travelling extensively as required.

Qualifications

• Experience selling, designing, implementing, and/or using Motorola Solutions communications systems and related devices.
• Excellent communication and creative selling skills including strong presentation and writing abilities.
• Ability to close sales and demonstrate success in reaching account growth targets.
• Understanding of proposal processes and ability to assemble proposals.
• Knowledge of IP networks, security concepts, and RF is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated, independent and able to solve problems creatively.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance; second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems and related solutions to government accounts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Identify and translate customer needs into Motorola Solutions offerings and ROI cases.
• Collaborate with DoD/DoW and foreign government customers to grow short- and long-term accounts.
• Manage customer satisfaction, account strategy, product lifecycle, discounts, budgets and expenses.
