Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Director, Contracts to lead a small contracts management team. The role oversees contract formation, negotiation, and compliance across commercial and government programs with a focus on risk mitigation.

You will partner with business development and program management to protect Mercury's interests while advancing objectives, providing guidance on strategy, finance, and best practices across designated markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience managing contracts and government/defense contracting.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of contract professionals including complex contractual arrangements.
• Lead, mentor, train, and develop a diverse team of contracts staff.
• Oversee contract formation, negotiation, and administration policies and processes.
• Drive strategic contract opportunities with significant business impact.
• Represent the company to customers, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Review and approve contractual documents to mitigate risk and protect posture.
